Oksident started publication as an electronic and peer-reviewed journal on the Dergipark system and publishes open-source articles. The journal adheres to the principle of unrestricted and embargo-free access to information. Oksident has taken some measures to ensure permanent access to its published articles. Thus, even if the journal closes or ceases publication, access to the published articles is guaranteed.

First of all, Oksident is published in the Dergipark system. Dergipark is an overarching entity that provides a platform for numerous academic journals. In the event a journal is no longer published, the published articles in the journal still remain accessible via Dergipark.

From the first issue, all journal articles are also uploaded to TRDizin and DOAJ.

Our journal is included in Ebscohost Academic Search Ultimate, and the archive of the journal's articles can be found on the relevant Ebsco pages.

All these measures ensure unrestricted access to the articles published in Oksident today and permanent access even if the journal is closed in the future.
