ولد الشيخ أحمد بن الشيخ صالح بن الشيخ محمود في قرية عين ديوار عام 1935. بعد الاحتلال الفرنسي لسوريا حصل الشيخ على الإجازة
التي تؤهّله للتعليم. وقد نظم الشيخ الشعر منذ نعومة أظافره. ولم يمض وقت طويل حتى
ذاع شعره في الآفاق وانتشر بين الناس. وقد ضاع الكثير من شعره لأنه لم يدوّن. إلا
أن بعض أشعاره حفظت بفضل الفنّانين الكرد الذين غنّوْا هذه الأشعار. ومن أشهر
هؤلاء الفنانين محمد شيخو. فكان هذا الفنان وسيلة لإيصال هذا الشعر إلى فِئات
الشعب.

Sheikh Ahmad bin Sheikh
Saleh bin Sheikh Mahmoud was born in Ain-Dewar 1935. He has acquired license
for educating after French colonizing to Syria, he has also composed poetry
since early days of his life; meanwhile, his poems have had fame and well spread
among the people, but unfortunately many of them have been lost since they had
been composed verbally and never been written. However, some of his poems have
been maintained by the virtue of Kurdish singers who had sung them, like
Mohammad Sheikho, in which those singers were the link to reach his
masterpieces into all community
