Abstract
Bu çalışmada (1) Karl Popper’ın yanlışlamacılığının yalnızca bilim ile sözde-bilimi ayırmaya yönelik bir teşebbüs olmadığını, aynı zamanda epistemolojinin ana konusunun, hedeflerinin, veri kaynaklarının ve yönteminin ne olduğu gibi çeşitli metafelsefi sorunlara özgün yanıtları da olan kapsamlı bir epistemoloji yaklaşımı savunuyorum. Ayrıca (2) Popper’ın epistemolojisinin bilimsel bilgi için özgün bir tanım da içerdiğini öne sürüyorum. Kısaca eleştirel doğruya yakın tercih olarak ifade edilebilecek bu tanım, geleneksel epistemolojide epistemik bir şart olarak kavranan gerekçelendirme şartını eleştiri şartıyla, anlambilimsel bir şart olan doğruluk şartını doğruya yakınlık şartıyla, psikolojik bir şart olarak kavranan öznel inancı da özneler-arası tercihle değiştirmektedir. Böylece, Poppercı epistemolojiye göre bilimsel bilgi, bir gerekçelendirilmiş doğru inanç türü değildir.

Abstract
In this study, I argue that (1) Karl Popper's falsificationism is not only an attempt to separate science and pseudo-science but also a comprehensive approach to epistemology that has original solutions for various metaphilosophical problems, such as the main subject, goals, data sources, and the proper method of epistemology. Furthermore, I assert that Popper's epistemology offers a unique definition of scientific knowledge. This definition, which may briefly be expressed as critical verisimilar preference, replaces justification, an epistemological condition, with criticism, truth, a semantical condition, with verisimilitude, and subjective belief, a psychological condition, with intersubjective preference. Thus, according to Popperian epistemology, scientific knowledge is not a type of justified true belief.
