Abstract
Umut, pek çok farklı tanım ve ifade ile ortaya konulan bir olgu olarak, sanatın içinde, doğanın özünde ham haliyle yer alır. Doğa, sanat eserlerinde kendini farklı olgular ile hissettiren önemli bir yansımadır. Doğada karmaşa, mutluluk, huzur, sakinlik, derinlik gibi pek farklı duygular tek bir bakış ile hissedilebilir. Van Gogh’un çiçeklenmiş badem dalları umut olabilirken, kimi eserlerde, çıplak dağ görünümlerinde lirik anlatımı güçlendiren "yalnız" ağaçlar umuttur. Kimisinde de karanlık gökyüzündeki küçük bir ışık huzmesi umuttur. Umut geçmişte öğrenilir, anın şartları içerisinde geleceği işaret eder. Şu an için kişiye belli bir yön verir, motivasyonunu canlı tutar, yapmak istediği şey için harekete geçirir. Mevcut duruma dair hoşnutsuzluğu, rahatsızlığı ortadan kaldırmak, geleceğe dair kararlar vermek üzerine kuruludur. Bir bakıma umut kavramı ile gelecek inşa edilir.

Abstract
Hope, as a phenomenon expressed with many different definitions and expressions, takes place in art, in the essence of nature, in its raw form. Nature is an important reflection that makes itself felt with different phenomena in works of art. In nature, many different emotions such as chaos, happiness, peace, calmness and depth can be felt with a single glance. While the blossoming almond branches of Van Gogh may be hope, in some works, the "lonely" trees that reinforce the lyrical expression in the bare mountain views are hope. For others, a small ray of light in the dark sky is hope. Hope is learned in the past, it points to the future in the conditions of the moment. For the moment, it gives a certain direction to the person, keeps his motivation alive, and activates him for what he wants to do. It is based on eliminating the discontent and discomfort about the current situation and making decisions about the future. In a way, the future is built with the concept of hope.
