BİTKİSEL KANAMA DURDURUCU AJANLARIN KEMİK REJENERASYONU ÜZERİNE OLAN ETKİNLİKLERİ

Year 2019, Volume: 46 Issue: 3, 179 - 186, 31.12.2019

Abstract

The Effects of Herbal Blood Stoppers on Bone Regeneration

Year 2019, Volume: 46 Issue: 3, 179 - 186, 31.12.2019

Abstract

Bone defects could occur in various circumstances such as tumor surgery, cyst enucleations, infections, congenital and developmental malformations or trauma. Since bone healing lasts longer than soft tissue healing; research by using new materials and chemical agents has been made to accelerate the healing process, increase the effectiveness of the applied techniques and to provide a complete repair of these defects in terms of aesthetics and function. In this review, the effects of Mecsina Hemostopper and Ankaferd Blood Stopper on bone healing and their effectiveness in experimental studies will be discussed.
